I have over 20 years experience providing Fortune 100 companies with business consulting, strategic development, new business development, marketing, and writing services.

 

Working with companies such as Apple, Panasonic, and many others, I've helped hone their messages, enter profitable new businesses, and adroitly position them to benefit from future societal and technological trends.

 

My market specialities include automotive, consumer electronics, digital television, and digital health.

I am an invited speaker at major industry events throughout the U.S., including the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), the Boomer Business Summit, the Silicon Valley Boomer Venture Summit, AARP Life@50+, and others. 

For more than two decades, I've also been a writer for The New York Times; the Los Angeles Times, Sound and Vision, Talk Magazine, The Daily Beast, The Daily (News Corp.), Emmy magazine, and many other publications. 

I'm the author of three popular books, including the #1 best-selling business book, "Taurus: the Making of the Car That Saved Ford," and the film school textbook, "Gaffers, Grips, and Best Boys: Who Does What in the Making of a Motion Picture."
